The event is always over-subscribed and so entries have to be prioritised in a way that reflects the event's financial need to break even but also the hopes and expectations of cycling clubs in Wales. So we have to apply a prioritisation process for entry selection.
Priority will be given to race entries as follows:
1. to club/composite teams staying in University accommodation
2. to single riders staying in University accommodation
3. to club/composite teams NOT staying in University accommodation
4. to single riders NOT staying in University accommodation
Note: this general prioritisation is subject to the following proviso:
Up to eight places will be reserved, if required for two teams from Welsh clubs who do not wish to stay in the University accommodation (to ensure access to the race for local riders whose club members support the event).
To qualify for these places a team entry MUST be submitted NOT a number of single entries submitted at different times.
In all cases, for each category listed above, entries will be prioritised on a first come first served basis.
Race entries will be reviewed, prioritised and accepted immediately after the closing date for entries. Riders will be informed of the outcome within 5 days.
